PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Monitor entrances, screening areas, and restricted access points while checking identification, observing visitor activity, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, public areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations while documenting daily activities, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. An armed guard card or license is required. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
