Securitas is seeking a Security Guard for a high-priority data center, protecting people, property, and critical infrastructure. In this role, you will control facility access, verify credentials, and monitor CCTV and security systems to detect and deter threats. You will perform interior and exterior patrols, respond to alarms and incidents, and enforce site safety and security policies with a strong customer-service mindset. You will document events in accurate reports, support fire and emergency procedures, and participate in ongoing training, with opportunities to advance into supervisory and specialist security roles. Responsibilities Monitor access control to data center and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and vendors Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of facility and secure sensitive areas Observe CCTV and security systems, reporting and documenting suspicious activity Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents following established protocols Enforce site security, safety, and visitor policies with professionalism and customer focus Prepare clear, accurate incident and shift reports Coordinate with client representatives, law enforcement, or emergency services as needed Participate in ongoing security, safety, and emergency response training Support fire, safety, and evacuation procedures during drills and real events Uphold Securitas values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness on every shift Required Skills Access control CCTV monitoring Incident reporting Patrol procedures Emergency response Security systems operation Visitor and vendor management Report writing Radio and communication protocols Fire and life-safety procedures
