This is a long-term, stable contract position running the full calendar year of 2027, Monday through Friday with federal holidays off. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and maintaining safety protocols across the site. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help prevent security breaches, manage incidents effectively, and support compliance with all security regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic security team committed to excellence and safety. Responsibilities Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel; report unauthorized access attempts immediately Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations Provide professional customer service to visitors, drivers, employees, and contractors Respond to incidents calmly and communicate through established reporting channels Requirements Valid TWIC card — must be in hand before start date 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Demonstrated knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control platforms. Strong skills in incident report writing, conflict management, and conflict de-escalation techniques. Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use (if applicable), and fire safety are advantageous. Experience working in environments requiring compliance with strict security regulations; military background is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally under pressure. Familiarity with emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques for logistical support.
