A Security Officer provides security for property at hospitals, hotels, warehouses or office buildings. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must: Be at least 18 years old Have a high school diploma or equivalent Have reliable transportation and communication Demonstrate strong customer-service and communication skills Be able to work the required schedule Meet all state and client licensing requirements Successfully complete required background screening and drug testing
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities may include: Monitoring and controlling access to the property Conducting routine patrols and security inspections Responding to incidents, alarms, and emergencies Documenting activity and preparing accurate reports Enforcing client policies and post procedures Providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests Performing additional security-related duties as assigned
