Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems and physical inspections to identify potential security risks. Control access points by verifying identities and managing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors through access control systems. Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to observe activity and ensure the safety of all areas within the premises. Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities for record-keeping and further investigation. Perform background checks on new personnel as part of the onboarding process in compliance with security regulations. Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to handle disputes or disruptive behavior professionally and safely. Assist with manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting or physical security measures when necessary. Support law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external assistance. Ensure compliance with all security policies, procedures, and legal requirements at all times. Experience Proven experience in security roles or related fields such as military service or law enforcement is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance equipment, CCTV systems, access control systems, and emergency response procedures is essential. Prior training or certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, or firearm handling is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and write clear incident reports accurately. Strong understanding of conflict management techniques and conflict de-escalation strategies. Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties that may involve long periods of standing or walking, as well as manual handling tasks including heavy lifting.
