The Windham Southeast School District (WSESD)/Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSESU) is an increasingly diverse community with an ongoing commitment to social justice and anti-racism. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join us in furthering this work. The Brattleboro Union High School seeks a Student Safety Officer to work under the supervision of the BUHS Administration and Safety Coordinator. The Student Safety Officer is responsible for helping to maintain the safety of the BUHS Campus. Working in conjunction with the BUHS Safety staff, the Safety Officer is in charge of ensuring all elements of a safe and healthy school environment. The Safety Officer will also monitor the perimeter as well as the inside of the building to ensure that students are following school rules and address any situations involving unauthorized individuals on school property. The position is Wage Grade 4 ($19.96-$27.81 per hour depending on experience), 8 hours per day, 189 days per year.
