Job Description

The Hospitality Night Security/Maintenance Associate is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and operational readiness of the resort during overnight hours. This position combines security monitoring, guest assistance, and basic maintenance duties to support a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and team members. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSecurity Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of resort buildings, guest areas, parking lots, trails, and exterior grounds. Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems. Respond promptly to guest concerns, emergencies, and suspicious activities. Ensure all public areas, entrances, and restricted-access locations are secure. Complete incident reports and maintain accurate security logs. Assist emergency responders when necessary and follow established safety procedures. Provide a visible and professional security presence throughout the resort. Maintenance Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of resort facilities and equipment. Address minor maintenance issues such as replacing light bulbs, resetting breakers, clearing walkways, and basic repairs. Respond to overnight maintenance requests from guests and resort departments. Monitor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems for proper operation. Report major repair needs, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to management. Guest Service Responsibilities Provide exceptional hospitality and customer service to resort guests. Assist guests with questions, directions, and reasonable requests during overnight hours. Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Maintain a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented attitude consistent with the resort's standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in hospitality, security, maintenance, or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair procedures. Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Working Conditions Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays. Frequent walking and patrols throughout the resort property. Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Occasional emergency response situations requiring quick decision-making and professional conduct. Preferred Qualifications First Aid and CPR certification. Experience with security systems, alarm monitoring, and facility maintenance. Strong customer service background in a hospitality environment. Basic computer skills for reporting and communication purposes.
Night Shift:

$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
