Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Hospitality Night Security and Maintenance Associate, where your energetic presence ensures a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for our guests and staff. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the premises during nighttime hours, conducting routine inspections, managing access points, and performing essential maintenance tasks. Your proactive approach and keen attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while preventing loss and ensuring safety at all times. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine security expertise with maintenance skills in a vibrant hospitality setting. Responsibilities Monitor the facility using CCTV surveillance systems to detect any suspicious activity or security breaches. Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for staff, vendors, and authorized visitors. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety, security, and cleanliness throughout the night shift. Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lighting checks, minor repairs, and ensuring safety equipment is operational. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate issues effectively. Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, inspections, and maintenance work for accountability and reporting purposes. Requirements Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR to handle medical emergencies confidently. Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with security protocols, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response procedures. Ability to perform physical tasks including patrolling large areas during night hours. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and visitors.
