Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Unarmed Security Officer to support a busy retail store in Everett, WA. This role is centered on maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment while proactively deterring loss and addressing day-to-day security concerns. Key Responsibilities Maintain a visible and professional presence at store entrances and key areas Deter theft, vandalism, and disruptive behavior through observation and patrol Monitor foot traffic, merchandise areas, and back-of-house spaces Respond promptly to incidents and assist store staff with non-violent situations Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers as needed Document daily activities, incidents, and observations clearly and accurately Collaborate with store management and supervisors to enforce policies and procedures Minimum Requirements Valid Washington State Security Guard License (Required) Must be at least 18 years of age Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills Excellent communication and situational awareness Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Availability to work Wednesday-Sunday schedule Preferred Qualifications Previous retail security or loss prevention experience CPR/First Aid certification Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Military or public safety background Why Join Treston Security Services?
