Job Summary Pierce Tactical Security is seeking dependable and professional Armed Security Officers for retail security assignments in Olympia and Tacoma, Washington . Officers will provide a visible security presence, conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, assist with access control, respond to incidents, and help maintain a safe environment for employees, customers, and property. This position requires sound judgment, professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm during incidents or emergencies. Primary Duties Maintain a professional and visible armed security presence Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and other assigned locations Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations Assist store management and staff with security-related concerns Respond appropriately to disturbances, emergencies, and incidents Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS when necessary Follow site post orders and Pierce Tactical Security procedures Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports Maintain professional communication with management, staff, customers, and responding agencies Protect company and client property while remaining within the legal authority of a private security officer Minimum Requirements Must be at least 21 years old Valid Washington State driver's license or reliable transportation Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Washington Armed Security Guard License Must meet Washington firearm qualification requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Strong communication and report-writing skills Dependable attendance and professional appearance Must successfully complete required onboarding and site training Preferred Previous armed security, military, corrections, or law-enforcement experience Current Washington armed guard license CPR/First Aid/AED certification Retail or loss-prevention security experience

$28.00-$30.00 per hour
