Support critical government operations Competitive pay and benefits for eligible employees Professional development and specialized security training Work alongside experienced security professionals Opportunity to serve in a high-impact, mission-focused environmen t Responsibilities What You'll Do As an Armed Security Guard, you will: Protect personnel, facilities, equipment, and government assets Conduct foot and vehicle patrols to deter and detect security threats Perform access control and visitor screening functions Enforce security procedures, post orders, and operational directives Monitor assigned areas for suspicious activity and unauthorized access Prepare incident reports, logs, and required documentation Respond to emergencies and security incidents Interact professionally with government personnel, contractors, visitors, and the public Qualifications Must be a Citizen of the U.S. Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Pass comprehensive background investigation Must have an Active Secret clearance. Speak, read, comprehend , and compose coherent verbal and written reports in English. Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration. Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922 Must be at least 2 1 years of age. Possess a Valid driver's license Minimum of two years' experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization. Pass Drug Test and Medical evaluation exam Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards (1.5 mile run under 17:30 and 19 push-ups under 2 min.) Must successfully complete and pass the MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) Must be able to complete the company-provided 160-hour NSGTC course and qualify with both pistol and rifle .
