The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. It will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of individuals on the premises. Current shift openings include 10:00pm-6:00am gate guard and 9:00pm - 5:00am patrol guard. Other shift opportunities available on intermittent basis to start. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Identify visitors and ask for appropriate access credentials and/or documents. Patrol grounds and property in security vehicle. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks. Maintain surveillance through CCTV systems and other monitoring equipment. Enforce rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized access or activities. Provide assistance during emergencies, including calling 911 and administering first aid or CPR when required. Answer telephone calls, take messages, answer questions, and provide information as needed. Document incidents and prepare reports as needed for management review. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years training in security or law enforcement is required. Certification in CPR/AED/First Aid is preferred. Valid Driver's License for Patrol shifts Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in customer service and guest facing roles in preferred. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods. Able to de-escalate during stressful situations Able to socialize compliance and achieve cooperation with difficult guests
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 32.0 per weekBenefits:
