Pierce County Security (PCS) has been in business since 1927 providing security services throughout Western Washington. PCS is currently hiring Patrol Officers to work out of our Tacoma office. PCS Patrol Officers are assigned to a section of the city and/or county and provide security services for the clients in their section. Vehicle Patrol Officer Needed Patrol car or SUV provided during work hours Vehicle pick-up and return at our Tacoma (Pierce County) office; patrol routes assigned in surrounding counties

HOURS:

Graveyard 8PM - 5

AM Pay and Benefits:

$23.00 per hour Paid training provided Washington State Security Guard License. Security Officer Responsibilities:

Patrol client facilities with company car, pick-up or sport utility vehicle Ensure client facilities are secured Deter theft and vandalism Watch for intrusion, fire, flood and other hazards Respond to alarms Assist employees and visitors Notify police, fire or medical aid when needed Write reports of incidents Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age Must have a valid Washington State Drivers License Good driving record Security or security related experience is preferred, but not required Ability to speak, read and write English Availability to work shifts which include weekends and holidays Pass a pre-employment drug screen including cannabis

• According to Washington state law the Department of Licensing (DOL) will not issue a Security Guard license to anyone with a Gross Misdemeanor within the last seven years or a Felony within the last ten years. Other criminal charges will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
