Our founder was a former police chief who saw a need for professionally trained security and armed patrol officers. Over 25 years later, MPI continues to be a leader in providing full scale, professional security services. We are very interested in hiring like minded individuals who are looking to gain additional training and experience in the private security industry.



Our focus is to hire the best and strive to make them better with unparalleled training and mentoring. Our Officers provide armed and unarmed security services, monitor surveillance equipment, and conduct patrols. MPI is currently looking to add several people to our team. We are in search of hard working, professional individuals, who are looking for full OR part time work that live in or around the Madison area.

REQUIREMENTS

for regular employment - APPRENTICESHIPS

for those not meeting all requirements. Must be at least 18 years of age. High School diploma or equivalent 24 college credits, preferably in criminal justice or a related field. OR 1 year of military service with an honorable discharge. OR 1 year of Police, Corrections, EMT or Firefighter experience Must be a US resident or documented naturalization proof

Qualifications:

Must have excellent customer service & communication skills and the ability to speak & write in fluent English. Must have reliable transportation, reliable cell phone, and a valid driver's license. Must have daily access to e-mail/internet Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays Must pass a background check with no felony convictions

• Background Check is not related to a personal or professional reference check Private Security Person (PSP) and/or Private Detective (PI) licensure is issued via The State of Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services (DSPS). Investigators will utilize Wisconsin DOJ Criminal History Records Information (CHRI), Centralized Criminal History (CCH), Wisconsin Online Record Check System (WORCS) as well as other investigative tools and resources to determine employment eligibility. This eligibility is not governed by MPI Protective , but by the State of Wisconsin - Department of Safety & Professional Services (DSPS). Any unpardoned felony will make any candidate ineligible for either required license. Candidates must be eligible to hold a Private Security Person (PSP) or Private Detective (PI) licensure through DSPS to be eligible for employment with MPI Protective.
