JOB SUMMARY

Fulfill the function of Security Supervisor in the absence of the Supervisor. Protect the assets of the Casino properties. Assist in the duties of the Security staff on the gaming floor. Assist in enforcing Casino and Security policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Native American preference. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be proficient in report writing and communication within department standards. Excellent guest service skills preferred. Experience in law enforcement, security, loss prevention and/or military police experience preferred. Must maintain First Responder Certification.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Ability to work independently and make sound supervisory decisions. Must be able to handle multiple projects and have the ability to prioritize them. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills along with diagnosis and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work and stand inside and outside in all weather conditions. Must be fair and consistent in administering Casino and Security policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provide direct supervison of assigned shift in the absence of the Supervisor. Monitor gaming activities for adherence to Casino policies. Keep Supervisor and Shift Manager notified of all pertinent information. Assist the Security staff on gaming floor. Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings.
