Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Night Shift Security professional to safeguard our facility during overnight hours. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, access control, and incident management. Your expertise in physical security measures, emergency response procedures, and conflict de-escalation will ensure the safety of personnel, property, and assets throughout your shift. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to a safe and secure environment. Responsibilities Conduct continuous surveillance and monitor security cameras to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Perform regular patrols of the premises, including building interiors, exteriors, and perimeter fences, to identify potential hazards or unauthorized access. Manage access control systems by verifying identities and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by following established emergency response procedures. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events during the shift. Perform searches on employee, patients, visitors or contractors as required to ensure compliance with security policies. Handle conflict situations with professionalism using conflict management techniques and de-escalation skills to maintain a safe environment. Qualifications Proven experience in physical security, law enforcement, military service or related fields is desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary. Familiarity with incident report writing and maintaining detailed security logs.
