Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Belmont, WV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support security-related operations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and regulatory requirements. Observe and report hazards, maintenance concerns, spills, and/or suspicious activity, helping to support orderly operations and prompt follow-up by the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
