As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to mall visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document relevant details. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the mall, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and common areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures. Assist with crowd management, lost-person inquiries, and tenant or visitor requests while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
