Surveillance Technician Position Summary The Surveillance Technician's primary role is to support organization's security objectives by maintaining high-quality video surveillance, access control, and related electronic security systems. The technician works closely with security personnel, IT staff, vendors, and facility management to ensure all systems operate efficiently and securely. All duties are performed in accordance with applicable laws, gaming regulations, company policies, and established procedures while promoting Crystal Casino's commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional customer service. Essential Responsibilities Monitor and maintain CCTV cameras, digital video recorders (DVRs), network video recorders (NVRs), video management systems (VMS), and related surveillance equipment for gaming integrity, safety, and security. Monitor and maintain access control systems, intercoms, alarm systems, and other electronic security devices as assigned. Monitor and maintain hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues affecting surveillance systems. Perform routine inspections to ensure optimal system performance. Respond promptly to equipment failures or service requests. Maintain accurate documentation of system performance, maintenance activities, and equipment inventories. Assist with system upgrades, expansions, and technology refresh projects. Immediately report security or safety issues to security personnel and management. Respond to emergency service and law enforcement requests when directed by security and management. Conduct investigations involving gaming operations, casino cage transactions, internal theft, guest incidents, and AML compliance concerns. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all surveillance activities and investigations. Document and maintain investigative findings through detailed written reports. Attend required surveillance meetings and training sessions. Ensure the surveillance work areas remain organized, secure, and safe. Prepare daily written surveillance reports and logs.
