Investigators will conduct comprehensive federal background investigations in accordance with the federal agency and federal standards to support national security and public trust missions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct federal background investigations, including subject interviews and record reviews Perform interviews with references, employers, neighbors, and other sources Review and analyze records (criminal, employment, education, financial, and other public records) Prepare accurate, thorough, and timely written investigative reports Meet strict quality, timeliness, and compliance standards Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately Use government-provided systems and adhere to investigative guidelines Excellent time management and organizational skills Work independently and manage multiple cases Proficiency with investigative reporting systems and Microsoft Office tools
Required Qualifications:
At least one (1) year of federal background investigation experience Must reside in California
