Job Description

Amentum is seeking a Senior Desk Officer to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area. Responsibilities Serves as Desk Officer, specific duties and functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Daily case management oversight of all field investigative activities. Liaison with USIC, FBI, and other law enforcement agencies. Recommend proactive investigative initiatives both internal to IN and across the Intelligence Community. Knowledge and understanding of foreign intelligence service modus operandi and targeting techniques. Developing and promulgating specific CI investigative priorities. Adversary-specific program management activities. Provide support to the full spectrum of the CI program Works closely with the FBI and the USIC to assist in any ongoing espionage, terrorism, or related operations and investigations at responsible facilities. Utilize raw and finished intelligence reports. Requirements Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college. An Advanced Degree in relevant technical field is desirable. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in CI and/or espionage case management, and supervising agents conducting these cases which may be a combination of civil service, or military. Demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Experience with CI databases for recordkeeping and data mining is required. Knowledge of geographic specific subject matter expertise is required. Experience as a primary case agent in counterintelligence case management at DOE, the FBI or DOD. Must have functional computer literacy and be proficient in common computer and network applications. Must demonstrate knowledge of full spectrum of CI activities.
Compensation Details:
$150,000.00 - $185,000.00 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
