This is a hybrid investigative position combining office-based investigative research with hands-on field investigations throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced investigators and industry professionals while developing skills in investigative research, OSINT, background investigations, surveillance, field investigations, interviews, evidence gathering, and professional report writing. Prior private investigation experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to develop the right candidate who demonstrates strong character, work ethic, critical thinking, technological ability, professionalism, and a genuine desire to build a career in the investigative industry.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Desktop Investigations Conduct comprehensive background investigations Perform open-source intelligence (OSINT) and advanced internet research Conduct social media investigations and analysis Research public, criminal, civil, corporate, property, and other available records Conduct skip traces and locate individuals, witnesses, businesses, addresses, vehicles, and assets Utilize professional investigative databases and research tools Conduct individual and corporate due diligence Identify relationships and connections between individuals and businesses Review and analyze documents, records, photographs, and case information Develop investigative intelligence and actionable leads for field investigators Document and preserve online information and evidence Prepare detailed, accurate, chronological, and professional investigative reports Field Investigations Conduct stationary and mobile surveillance Photograph and video document subjects, locations, vehicles, and activities Conduct neighborhood and area canvasses Locate and interview witnesses and other relevant individuals Assist with recorded statements and affidavits Conduct field research and verify information developed through desktop investigations Obtain photographs, documents, records, and other relevant evidence Maintain comprehensive investigative notes Prepare detailed written reports documenting investigative activities and findings Assist senior investigators with complex investigative assignments Travel throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties and occasionally to other areas as assignments requireREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must meet the following requirements: Valid driver's license Clean criminal background Reliable transportation suitable for investigative and field assignments Experience writing detailed, accurate, and professional reports Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong computer and technology skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to clearly document observations, investigative steps, findings, and relevant facts Ability to work independently and follow established procedures Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to travel throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties Flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends, and extended hours based on investigative needs Ability to obtain or maintain applicable Florida investigative licensing requirementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior private investigation experience preferred Previous surveillance or field investigation experience Experience conducting background investigations, OSINT, social media research, skip tracing, due diligence, or investigative research Experience utilizing investigative databases and public records systems Law enforcement, military, intelligence, legal, insurance, fraud, cybersecurity, or security experience Degree or coursework in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Legal Studies, Information Technology, or a related field Bilingual English/Spanish is a plusWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is comfortable working both behind a computer and in the field. They should be able to research information, analyze what they find, develop investigative leads, conduct fieldwork when necessary, and then clearly document their findings in a professional written report. Attention to detail is critical.
