The Associate Staff Investigator (ASI) is often a first-touch by our clients, whether in the subcontract market sector or the prime market sector. ASI's will manage the sales cycle for inbound and outbound leads, manage casework from start-to-finish, mentor Junior Staff Investigators, and assist senior staff with complex casework. ASI's may delegate tasks to JSI's as necessary.

Experience:

5-8 years of investigative reporter experience is a must.

Requirements:

Knowledge of and experience in investigative casework. Ability to independently execute, develop investigation plans, conduct and manage investigation projects, process evidence logically, process media technically, and write reports to tell the actual story of "what happened", "why it matters" and "what we can do about it." Ability to exercise sound judgment and form objective conclusions/recommendations based on empirical facts, evidence, and other pertinent information. Analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to think strategically, identify needs and requirements, and develop recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative data. Ability to examine information, identify problems, uncover root causes, develop findings and leads, and make cogent, actionable recommendations. Interpersonal and negotiation skills, including ability to interview, negotiate, brief senior officials, and work effectively, independently, and in a team or collaborative environment. Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to produce clear and logical reports. Knowledge of and experience with sales cycle management and lead generation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement investigative plans for complex investigations and projects by framing the allegation(s), determining elements of proof, and identifying investigative tasks. Gather and analyze information and/or evidence by interviewing key individuals. Collect and analyze high volumes of information, maintain the chain of custody for evidence, and draft reports. Develop and present written documents and present oral briefings for senior staff and unit administration regarding findings and the status of complex or sensitive investigations. Assist in the daily investigative workload of the business unit. Intake cold leads from real people who need help and have a story to tell. These leads often come from Marketing & Sales efforts. Manage available prime market casework from intake-to-close. Assist with cold outreach and business development as opportunities present themselves. Train on all platforms, methodologies, and frameworks. KPI and metric alignment will be required as a measure of job performance, and minimum performance standards must be met. Any other duties as required.

Benefits:

3% on the profit of direct-attributable new client acquisitions and their lifetime value, paid quarterly. Two weeks (10 workdays) of PTO per calendar year available upon hire and then annually every January 01.

Additional Requirements:

Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation. Applicants must pass a background check. Applicants must have or be willing to obtain a Florida class "C" Private Investigator or "CC" Private Investigator Intern license.

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $67,500.00 per year
