JOB SUMMARY
Surveillance Operator I protects casino assets using closed circuit television (CCTV). Operators observe all activities of guests and team members on the casino floor, cage, count room, and other designated areas, Record activities when appropriate also report observations to appropriate parties including state officials if necessary. Document all phone calls in the surveillance activities daily log.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Ability to read, write, and understand instructions. Ability to learn and retain knowledge of casino games, company procedures and internal controls. Monitor casino games, cage, slots and soft count rooms and property overall. Report on all company procedures, internal controls and gaming regulation violations. Required to conduct investigations (thereby ensuring the protection of property assets) against claims of property loss, personal injury, team member misconduct, criminal activity and/or any incident or event which compromises the company's policies and procedures, internal controls, state gaming regulations, team members or guests, as assigned by the Surveillance Supervisor. Plans, organizes and completes work timely Takes initiatives, shows ownership and goes above and beyond to assist guests with their needs Accepts feedback and coaching from supervisors
WHAT YOU WILL NEED A
high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to obtain and maintain Valid Gaming license. Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification. Complete all required company training.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Have 20/20 or better vision with corrective lenses. Ability to differentiate between the different colored cheques, chips and bill straps. Ability to lift 20 lbs. Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to: personal computer, all CCTV equipment, joysticks, multiplayers, alarm systems, and listening device(s). Consistently monitor and observe Ability to detect slight variations in Team Member's tasks and Guest activities during observations. Ability to recall table games payouts, complicated procedures internal control and gaming regulations. Possess the mathematical skills to calculate table games payouts utilizing formulas. Ability to effectively communicate using a telephone, two-way radio and computer. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies, investigations, and promotions. Ability to sit and maintain mental concentration for significant/extended periods of time. Ability to multitask Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
