Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Surveillance Patrol in Independence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and helps keep operations running smoothly.

PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Complete detailed activity reports and communicate security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
