Previous security, military and/or law enforcement training or experience are preferred, but we will fully train the right candidate to help them reach their full potential. Must bring a customer service mindset and a willingness to learn. The position requires a respectful and cooperative team player with strong communication skills, compliance with privacy laws, and the ability to act in a customer service capacity. Active and unrestricted MA LTC required at time of hire for armed positions. First Responder and CPR certifications are preferred. We are currently hiring for a full time overnight position. MCP is a twenty-four hour a day company which requires employees who can be flexible with scheduling. In addition to the preference for military or law enforcement experience, this position requires a clean CORI and positive employment history. Qualified candidates will undergo comprehensive background and criminal history investigations, as well as interviews, drug screen, and 90-day probationary period.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity
• Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any security breaches or alarms
• Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
• Nights and weekends required, full and part time availability

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods

Requirements:

• Military, Law Enforcement, or Security Experience Preferred
• Completion of Mass Criminal Justice Training Council Academy Preferred
• Criminal Justice Degree Preferred
• Active unrestricted MA LTC for Armed Positions
• Clean CORI
• Clean Drug Screen
