Job Description

The Role We are hiring Unarmed Uniformed Protective Agents to support a residential community in an urban setting. This role sits at the intersection of safety, community engagement, and crisis response. You are not just observing—you are actively shaping the environment through visibility, communication, and sound decision-making. Success in this role requires emotional intelligence, command presence, and the ability to operate within a trauma-informed framework while maintaining firm boundaries. What You'll Do Conduct high-visibility foot patrols across property and surrounding areas. Manage access control, guest verification, and site integrity. Monitor surveillance systems and respond proactively to activity. Complete clear, accurate, and defensible reports and shift documentation. Utilize company technology platforms (reporting, communication, tracking systems). Respond to incidents, disturbances, and medical situations until higher-level support arrives. Act as a professional liaison with residents, property management, and law enforcement. Apply trauma-informed practices while maintaining accountability and site standards. De-escalate conflict using structured, non-violent crisis intervention techniques. Build trust while maintaining professional boundaries and authority. We are selective.
The right candidate is:
A strong communicator—clear, concise, and professional in all settingsSkilled in de-escalation and situational judgment. Grounded in a trauma-informed but accountability-driven approach. Able to operate in high-pressure, unpredictable environments. Technologically capable (report writing systems, mobile tools, surveillance platforms). Knowledgeable about handling situations with individuals using a person-centered approach. Professional in appearance, conduct, and follow-throughExperienced in security, law enforcement, corrections, or related fields (preferred). Physically capable of extended patrols and rapid response. $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
