Job Description

Monmouth Park Racetrack, established in 1946 along the Jersey Shore in Oceanport, is one of New Jersey's most historic and recognizable landmarks. Monmouth Park plays host to world-class Thoroughbred racing May through September. In addition to its racing operations in Oceanport, Monmouth Park owns and operates off-track wagering facilities in Woodbridge and Hillsborough. Darby LLC has a career opportunity for a full-time position in our Surveillance Department. 3PM-11PM shift
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor CCTV system for multiple locations.
  • Process and evaluate information received, provide direction as needed.
  • Maintain status and location of security guards.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all incoming/outgoing communication.
  • Will be required to learn to utilize various types of electronic and manual recording equipment.
  • Maintain secure and confidential information created or encountered in the performance of assigned duties.
  • Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from security officers, employees, the general public and outside agencies via telephone, radio system and computer.
  • Record information received clearly and accurately.
  • Recognize and report situations/conditions that are potentially dangerous.
  • Adhere to work schedule.
  • Follow company policies and procedures as described in the company handbook.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergency situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office to include learning new software programs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (orally and in writing).
  • Experience in monitoring CCTV, alarm board, and control system a plus.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Requirements:
  • 20/20 vision/corrective lenses.
  • Ability to distinguish colors, shapes and differences in sizes.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to work in a confined area.
