Job Description

Surveillance Analyst Hourly Position - $17.02/hour Must be flexible to work Days, Swings, and Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
PURPOSE :
Under the direction of the Surveillance Lead Analyst and Surveillance Manager, the Surveillance Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the gaming operations through effective CCTV monitoring and investigation of the facilities' activities on a per-shift basis. Notify Surveillance management of non-compliance with regulations, internal controls, and rules of the games, as well as when integrity of assets is compromised. Document violations and remedial measures taken. Cooperate with Operations when Surveillance coverage is required.
SUPERVISORY SCOPE
: This position directly supervises:
N/A ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
: Monitors all areas of the property at all times, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity for proper resolution. Ensure quality observations and investigations in the Surveillance Department on assigned shift. Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission and ensures strict adherence to same throughout the property. Protect gaming assets and gaming integrity through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property, particularly on the gaming floor. Assists with directing the flow of surveillance reports to the proper individuals per Surveillance Managements, always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Ability to work as a team in an effort to develop fellow Surveillance Team Members and the Surveillance Department. Maintain high service levels in the Surveillance Department. Create daily activity reports and repairs necessary reports for management. Coordinates with Surveillance Management when surveillance discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention as appropriate. Incorporates information throughout the department, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings. Observes, documents, records, and reports any unusual or suspicious activities on property. Regularly inspects the premises, identifying potential safety or security hazards, and reporting same to Surveillance Management, for proper resolution. Review surveillance video and reports, providing detailed information to Surveillance Management as needed. Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
:
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum one (1) year experience in a gaming environment, or a combination of Security, Law Enforcement, or surveillance environment. Proven knowledge of surveillance equipment.
Skills and Abilities :
Ability to learn gaming fraudulent crimes, how to detect such crimes, and how to document court admissible evidence of such crimes. Ability to learn how to operate an extremely complex CCTV system. Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with the various business units within gaming operations. Ability to type and understand basic computer operations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to analyze gaming statistics and investigate discrepancies thoroughly. Ability to write effective reports. Ability to view surveillance footage and find conclusive supporting video facts. Ability to respond to inquiries from Team Members. Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations. Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to interpret data from graphs. Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations. Full knowledge and understanding of company and departmental rules, policy and procedures. Ability to work under high stress situations.
PREFERRED
Education and Experience :
Two (2) years of formal schooling or military experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Prior Gaming Surveillance experience.
REQUIRED TRAINING

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
: Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License. Must comply with all Naskila Casino Policies. Must successfully complete an Introductory Period. Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner. Must follow all Safety Rules and Regulations. Must adhere to Dress Code and Appearance Policies. Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable. Practice good personal hygiene. Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Department Manager.
