Job Description
Job Duties Coordinates all station ground operations relating to the operational interface between aircraft loading/unloading activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education High school diploma/GED Minimum Experience None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to complete basic and/or recurrent training/testing. Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. With appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to operate GSE. Knowledge of FAMIS/FedEx computer systems. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance. Job Conditions Drives vehicles not covered under section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. FAA covered safety sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
