Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced incumbent Transportation Security Training Instructor to lead comprehensive training programs for security personnel involved in transportation safety. This role is vital in ensuring that staff are well-equipped with the latest security protocols, emergency response techniques, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in adult education, emergency care, law enforcement, and curriculum development, with a passion for fostering a culture of safety and excellence. As a key member of our training team, you will deliver engaging classroom instruction, develop tailored course content, and ensure all trainees meet rigorous security standards across diverse transportation environments. Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver dynamic training courses on transportation security procedures, emergency response, and safety protocols using adult learning principles. Conduct classroom teaching sessions that incorporate practical exercises Evaluate trainee performance through assessments and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security regulations, emergency response techniques, and law enforcement procedures relevant to transportation security. Develop curriculum materials that meet regulatory standards and address the needs of diverse student populations from various cultural backgrounds. Ensure compliance with safety standards during training activities and promote a culture of continuous improvement in security practices. Experience Proven experience in classroom teaching or course instruction within TSA, law enforcement, emergency medicine, firefighting, or military settings. Extensive background in adult education methodologies and curriculum development tailored to transportation security or related fields. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds in high-pressure environments. Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) use and safety standards applicable to transportation security operations. Strong understanding of course design principles for adult learners combined with practical experience in law enforcement or military training programs.
