Lawn Care Worker

Abshure Lawn Care is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our growing lawn care and landscaping team. Lawn Care Workers are responsible for mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and maintaining residential and commercial properties to company standards. This is a physically demanding outdoor position that requires attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and a professional attitude. Employees must be able to work in hot weather, follow instructions, and treat customer property with care and respect. This is a seasonal position. Work is typically steady during the growing season and may be significantly reduced during the winter months. Responsibilities Operate commercial lawn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and other landscaping equipment Mow, edge, trim, and clean properties to company standards Safely load and unload equipment and secure trailers Maintain clean and organized work vehicles Follow all company safety procedures and mowing protocols Report property damage, equipment issues, and customer concerns immediately Attend required monthly safety meetings Work efficiently as part of a team Requirements Valid driver's license preferred (required for crew lead positions) Ability to work outdoors in hot and humid conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly Reliable transportation to and from work Working cell phone required Strong work ethic and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards Preferred Qualifications Previous commercial lawn care or landscaping experience (mowing your own yard does not count) Experience operating commercial mowing equipment Knowledge of trailer loading and equipment safety Schedule Full-time during the growing season Weekly pay every Friday Monthly safety meetings held on the first working day of each month Monday to Friday, weekends if weather stops the normal work week. $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
