Join as a Lay Up & Press Operator - 1st Shift | $20/hr | Stable aerospace career growth! Job Description Operate layup and press equipment to produce panels for aircraft parts. Responsibilities include material handling, panel layup, press operation, CNC trimming, inspection, and general production tasks in a clean manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Lay up materials in correct sequence and orientation Operate presses, saws, CNC equipment, and hand/power tools Load/unload panels and materials safely Trim panels to precise tolerances Inspect materials and finished panels for quality Complete production paperwork accurately Support assembly tasks and cross‑train as needed Operate forklift when required Requirements Production/manufacturing experience preferred Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand long hours Comfortable working around chemicals in a manufacturing environment Basic math and inspection skills GED preferred; forklift/CNC experience a plus Why Work Here Stable aerospace role with no history of layoffs Consistent day shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) Clean, organized facility with strong benefits Opportunities for cross‑training, skill growth, and long‑term career development Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Newport, WA.
