Salary Range:

$20.00- $27.00 per hour. The salary range is determined based on qualified years of experience in relation to the job description below.

Maintenance Safety Manager Job Summary:

The Lead Custodian is responsible for the inspection and maintenance of their assigned agency facilities, grounds and vehicles maintaining a safe environment. This position prioritizes site specific building needs in conjunction with site management staff and serves as the lead contact person for vendors and program staff for building needs.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Develop daily work list identifying building needs in conjunction with site management staff 2. Creates work orders and coordinates work with maintenance and environmental service staff within their assigned building 3. Ensures maintenance, environmental service staff and vendors work orders are submitted and completed in a timely manner 4. Completes maintenance needs/tasks in building including carpentry, plumbing, electrical and paint projects. 5. Ensures their assigned building is in compliance with regulatory codes by completing monthly building and vehicle safety inspections. 6. Completes large floor care projects, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. 7. Maintains maintenance equipment within their building(s). 8. Completes routine maintenance as needed 9. Completes room set ups and moves as needed. 10. Completes lawn care and snow removal as needed.

Skills:

Basic computer skills Mechanical skills Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment Knowledge and experience in maintenance trades, electric, plumbing, carpentry. Knowledge of building environmental safety requirements.
