Lead Cook

The Poppy and Parliament's sister pub, The Salty Cod is seeking a strong sous chef style leader to assist in running our vibrant kitchen team. Applicants must be passionate about food, eager to learn, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will be expected to be trained all areas of the kitchen. Applicants must be able to work together with coworkers to put out excellent quality dishes. Cleanliness, professionalism, and punctuality are an absolute necessity. Must act as a leader and enforce The Poppy & Parliament's & The Salty Cod's standards and procedures in Chef's absence. Must be reliable, trustworthy, and dedicated. Applicant is expected to understand and help with ordering and weekly inventory Must be a leader and able to run the kitchen in Chef Kristen's absence. Applicant must understand time management and the importance of consistency. The Poppy and Parliament is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All positions have a 90-day probationary period.
