Lead Generator - Inside Sales Representative (Floor & Decor Partnership)

Company Overview Solid Oak Construction is a growing remodeling company focused on delivering high-quality renovation services with exceptional customer experience. We specialize in residential remodeling projects including kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and interior upgrades. We are looking for a motivated and outgoing Sales Representative to help generate and close remodeling projects from customers visiting our Floor & Decor partner location. Position Summary The Sales Representative will work inside a Floor & Decor retail location, engaging with customers who are planning home improvement projects and connecting them with Solid Oak Construction's remodeling services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, building relationships, and helping homeowners turn their remodeling ideas into reality. The right candidate is confident, energetic, self-motivated, and comfortable starting conversations with customers throughout the day. Responsibilities Engage with customers inside a Floor & Decor retail store and introduce Solid Oak Construction remodeling services Build relationships with homeowners planning remodeling or renovation projects Identify customer needs, i.e. flooring, kitchen, bathroom, remodels Offer and schedule free in-home consultations and estimate appointments Collect customers contact information and project details Maintain communication with the project and sales management team Track customer interactions and sales activity Meet or exceed weekly and monthly lead generation goals Always represent the company in a professional manner Qualifications Previous sales experience preferred Experience in remodeling, construction, flooring, or home improvement is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Outgoing personality with the ability to start conversations naturally Self-driven and goal-oriented Professional appearance and demeanor Comfortable working in a retail environment Ability to work weekends Reliable transportation Basic computer and smartphone skills Compensation & Benefits Base hourly pay plus commissions Performance bonuses available High earning potential Ongoing sales and product training Opportunity for advancement within a growing company Potential for health benefits if fulltime eligibility requirements are met Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Enjoys talking with people and building trust quickly Has a passion for home improvement and remodeling Can stay motivated in a fast-paced retail environment Takes initiative and follows through with leads Wants to grow with a long-term company opportunity Work Location Inside Floor & Decor retail location•
