This position is approximately 35 hours per week (9:30-5:30pm with an hour break) and will play a key role in creating a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners. The Lead Teacher will create and implement activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while ensuring a safe and responsive classroom environment.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily routines Creating a structured, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment Supervising and supporting classroom staff Communicating regularly with families regarding children's development Observing and documenting developmental milestones Ensuring compliance with all licensing and safety regulations Our Early Childhood program prioritizes high-quality care, responsive relationships, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Staff work together to create a warm, engaging environment that supports early childhood growth while aligning with best practices and NAEYC standards.Qualifications:
CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required Experience working with infants and toddlers Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Must pass a background check and fingerprinting First Aid & CPR certification is a plus Medication Administration training is a plus Knowledge or experience with NAEYC accreditation standards is a plusPay:
