Position Details:
Pay is $20.00 an hour Schedule is Monday - Friday starting at 8am 80%-90% driving travel is required (Per Diem and company paid hotels when traveling). Will be working within assigned territory. Phone & Car allowance + Mileage reimbursement available!
Position Summary:
The Lead Merchandiser is responsible for pricing and setting customer's stores. Will report directly to the Sales/Merchandising Manager overseeing the geographical area they service.
Position Responsibilities:
Coordinating reset schedule with area Sales Manager Ownership of weekly reset execution Training new merchandisers Service assigned stores as scheduled daily Providing excellent customer service Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning at our customer locations Read planograms Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store. Monitor potential account problems at the store level and report to Sales and/or Sales Manager when required Maintain safe store aisles Maintenance of assigned equipment Occasional overnight travel Reporting hours to division on provided time sheets Performs other related duties as assigned The ideal candidate should possess the following: Must have reliable transportation to travel to convenience stores & customer locations Able to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision Strong oral & written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Self -motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
  • 1+ years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales position.
  • Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
  • Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
