At La Cristianita Preschool, we believe in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow through play. Our play-based approach encourages curiosity, creativity, and social development in young minds. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Room Teacher to join our team and help create memorable experiences for our little learners.

Position Overview:

As a Two's Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for children ages 2 to 3 years old. You will be responsible for designing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote exploration, independence, and socialization. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and compassionate individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young children and who is capable of working with some of our littlest littles from a place of love and patience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and facilitate engaging activities and experiences based on the principles of play-based learning.
• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where children feel secure and encouraged to explore.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
• Observe and assess each child's developmental progress, and tailor activities to meet their individual needs and interests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Utilize problem solving skills to effectively manage the classroom and sudent interactions.
• Support children in developing important skills such as language, motor coordination, and self-regulation through hands-on experiences and guided play.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare or early education setting.

MINIMUM 12

Early Childhood Education (ECE) units

REQUIRED.

• Infant/Toddler, CDA certification or equivalent qualification preferred.

• NO CANDIDATES WITHOUT 12 ECE UNITS MINIMUM WILL BE CONSIDERED.

• Strong understanding of child development principles and play-based learning approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Dedication to consistent attendance.
