Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Child Care Provider to join our dynamic team dedicated to nurturing and supporting the growth of children. In this vital role, you will lead a team of caregivers in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. Your leadership will ensure that every child receives attentive care, developmentally appropriate activities, and positive guidance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives while fostering a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere. Responsibilities Lead daily operations within the childcare setting, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts Supervise and mentor caregiving staff, providing guidance on classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving best practices Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, needs, and milestones effectively Manage classroom schedules, activity planning, and transitions to support smooth daily routines Maintain accurate records related to child attendance, health concerns, incident reports, and developmental progress Requirements Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or children with special needs Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly valued Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and social interactions among children Experience in daycare settings or as a nanny or babysitter with a focus on caregiving for young children Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members Ability to lead a team confidently while maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Lead Child Care Provider where your dedication will inspire young minds and support their journey of discovery!
