5/25/2026 11:59 PM Central Job Title Lead Teacher Essential Job Functions Supervises and monitors children at all times; responds appropriately to crisis or emergency situations that may occur Uses a curriculum framework and curriculum tools that provide opportunities for each child to meet learning expectations that prepare children for success in school Develops and implements age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum Establishes a daily routine that included time for small and large group activities, encourages creative expression, and incorporates health and nutrition development, as part of a daily activities Creates a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment Assesses student progress and modifying instruction to meet individual needs Collaborates with other teaches, staff members, and families to support student learning and well-being Maintains accurate records of student's attendance, progress, and behavior Fosters positive relationship with students, families, and the community Models appropriate and respectful behavior to the children and fellow staff Supports children's social and emotional development through positive child guidance approaches and the development of positive relationships in the classroom. Has parent conferences with each child's parent(s) to partner in learning goals, develops coordinated learning support strategies, and involves the parent(s) in the child's preschool experience Establishes and maintains confidential, accurate and timely information on each child's development and program participation Incorporates parenting training and parent leadership in program activities Provides helpful feedback to parents and guardians on a regular or as-needed basis Uses video communication systems and classroom video recordings for inter-site communication, professional development Participates in annual program self-assessment and use information in ongoing program improvement Other related duties, as assigned Qualifications Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related discipline.
