Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school environment and make a meaningful difference in students' lives through a contract opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). For the 2026-2027 school year, two positions are available, offering the chance to collaborate with dedicated staff in an engaging setting located near Lorman, MS. Ideal candidates will enjoy a structured 40-hour workweek, providing services to a manageable caseload of 60-70 students across two sites. This position allows professionals to utilize their expertise to support communication and language development, empowering students to reach their fullest potential.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Mississippi SLP licensure or eligibility upon hire Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Ability to organize, prioritize, and document therapy sessions effectivelyResponsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Develop tailored intervention plans based on student goals Document progress and maintain accurate records in line with school and state guidelines Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students' needs Provide services across two school sites while managing a caseload of 60-70 students Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans This contract opportunity offers the flexibility to make a positive impact throughout the academic year.
