Leads, manages, and supports projects related to process and product improvements using Lean, Six Sigma and project management methodologies to achieve business goals.What you will do:
Lead the Six Sigma Program for Continuous Product Improvement of Caterpillar's Connectivity and Service Technologies. Lead Six Sigma project portfolio to achieve measurable business process improvements. Lead 8-10 Projects driving improvements to Customer experiences with Caterpillar Technologies and Solutions. Employ Six Sigma methodology to improve Products and Processes within the Convexity Division.Skill Descriptors Analytical Thinking:
Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Influencing:
Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.Problem Solving:
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Process Improvement:
Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintains focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services. Consideration forTop Candidates:
Experience with Electronics systems including hardware and software. Ability to work with complex teams and manage across a matrix organization. Experience with Caterpillar continuous Product Improvement (CPI) processes or similar product and process improvement methodologies.Additional Details:
This position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Mossville, IL office. Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position. Visa sponsorship is NOT available with this position. #LI Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.Benefits:
