Lease Up - Leasing Professional Residential and Commercial Real Estate Company - 3.7 Westport, CT Job Details Full-time $50,000 - $52,000 a year 4 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Microsoft Outlook Customer service Event planning Administrative experience Appointment scheduling Full Job Description The Leasing Professional, under the direction of the Community Manager, is responsible for maximizing property occupancy by generating qualified traffic, networking within the local community, scheduling appointments, promoting resident retention, and providing or coordinating exceptional customer service. Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Provides polished and professional sales tours of the model apartment, vacant apartments, and community amenities. Identify strengths & weakness of alternative sales approach; overcome objections and create excitement Consistent and timely follow-up on all calls, emails, and site visits Process lease applications and qualify residents Accurately prepare all lease-related documents Inspects apartments prior to resident move-in and ensures apartments are in move-in ready condition and schedules any outstanding item to be addressed with the maintenance team. Process maintenance requests, coordinate with maintenance, and follow up to ensure timely completion or work orders Perform various administrative tasks as needed or as directed by the Community Manager and any additional responsibilities as required. Creates and drives traffic to the community, including implementing resident referral and employer outreach programs, using internet marketing tools (Instagram, Facebook, e-mail, and other websites), and following other community-specific marketing plans, drives, and special programs. Maintains waiting list, prepares weekly leasing reports, and maintain an up-to-date market survey of primary competitors Uses the on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record traffic and leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and capture critical demographic and other information about existing and future residents. Assist with planning, preparation, and implementation of lease-up promotional events, community Resident functions, and Resident engagement programs. Works patiently, professionally, and cooperatively with residents and staff to provide high quality customer service. Preserves and respects resident and applicant confidentiality. Compliance with local and federal Fair Housing Laws. The Ideal Candidate will have 1 - 2 years' experience in Multi Family property management preferred Prior leasing & lease-up experience preferred Strong communication & marketing skills Ability to analyze and prioritizes tasks assigned Event planning experience is a plus Knowledge of local and federal Fair Housing Laws is a plus Yardi software experience preferred Professional and positive attitude College Degree preferred Self-starter, goal-oriented mindset Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook Must be able to work weekends Tuesday-Saturday schedule This position is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and, a drug screening. All screenings are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and with the candidate's written consent.
