Job Description

Leasing Agent Real Property Management (RPM) is the trusted leader in reliable single-family and small multi-family residences. We are a principle-based organization looking for top talent to enhance our work culture and help push our team to further revolutionize the professional management space. The Leasing Agent supports the Office Manager by overseeing financial and marketing business while also interacting with renters. The assistant property manager has a variety of different responsibilities, which range from daily upkeep of the property to the recruitment of new clients.
Essential Responsibilities may include:
Processes rent payments and other fees Inquires about late payments and assists in handling eviction issues Interviews new prospective tenants and gives tours of the property Processes applications, conducts credit checks and calls references Distributes and collects leases and ensures that all required legal documents are signed Addresses and promptly resolves questions, requests, and complaints from tenants Inspects property on a regular basis to assess condition of buildings and grounds, and ensures that empty units are ready for new tenants Attends to necessary repairs and maintenance Reports any problems or issues to property manager Manages records and files of current tenants Responds to emergency maintenance or safety calls. Performs other related duties as assigned Key Attributes Highly detail oriented and organized in work Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results Demonstrates ability to think creatively in order to develop new marketing and recruiting techniques Demonstrates the strong organizational skills necessary to oversee a number of different properties Property Management and or Real Estate industry knowledge and experience is preferred (not required) Exhibits an ability to calmly resolve disputes or complaints Interacts and engages in a friendly manner with potential and current tenants Proficient with email and Microsoft Office applications Must be willing to travel to various property sites Education/Experience Preferred experience utilizing AppFolio property management software
Compensation, Work Hours, and Benefits:
This position is a full-time opportunity (Monday - Friday) We offer a competitive compensation and benefit package (medical, dental, vision). Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual program based on tenure of employment. Our organization also offers 10 paid Holidays yearly to full-time employees. •This position may require the successful completion of a criminal background check and/or drug screen
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
