Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our team and assist the Controller with a variety of administrative, legal, and accounting-related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in legal, accounting, or property management is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and legal support to the team and Controller Draft, review, and format correspondence, reports, and legal documents Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems Track and manage multiple insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and timely updates Assist with accounting-related tasks, including data entry, reconciliation support, and reporting Manage calendars, deadlines, and appointments Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors as needed Ensure all records and documentation are accurate, complete, and up to dateQualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data tracking) Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Professional and reliable with a strong work ethicPreferred Qualifications:
