Job Description
Litigation Assistant / Case Manager - Personal Injury Litigation We are seeking a full-time Litigation Assistant/Case Manager for an extremely busy plaintiff-side personal injury litigation practice in our Concord location. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and is able to work independently while remaining team-oriented. This is a full-time
IN OFFICE
(40 hours per week) position.Duties & Responsibilities:
Handle very busy incoming and outgoing phone communications Assist with litigation and case management tasks Manage and maintain calendars, deadlines, billing, and case management databases Organize and maintain legal files and documents Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, experts, courts, and opposing counsel Obtain information and prepare reports related to litigation matters Draft routine correspondence, pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and other legal documents Review, summarize, and analyze pleadings, discovery, court filings, medical records, and client documents Prepare draft discovery responses and assist with document production under attorney supervision Schedule meetings, depositions, mediations, hearings, and travel arrangements Prioritize and manage multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines Assist attorneys with trial preparation and litigation support Work collaboratively within a litigation team environmentQualifications:
Some college required; college degree preferred Minimum 3+ years of litigation experienceREQUIRED
Minimum 1+ years of personal injury experienceREQUIRED
Prior plaintiff-side litigation experience strongly preferredKnowledge & Skills:
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to establish and maintain organized client files High degree of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality Strong writing, editing, and communication skills Excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading abilities Strong clerical and administrative skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and case management software Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume litigation environment Professional and courteous demeanor with clients and opposing counsel Ability to research and interpret legal procedures, statutes, and regulations Experience with discovery, calendaring, and litigation deadlines preferred Please submit your resume and references for consideration.Job Type:
