Level I IT Specialist (Queen Creek, AZ)

Description
Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. At Charter One we pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of charter school operations, academics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, and more. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.
American Leadership Academy is currently accepting applications for a full-time Level 1 IT Specialist who will provide on-site support to all technology equipment for our Ironwood High School located in Queen Creek, Arizona. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card. Previous experience in the IT field is preferred, but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answer, evaluate and prioritize requests for assistance from staff experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other IT related issues.
Escalate complex issues to Level 2 support providing a detailed report of steps taken.
Install computers, software, and peripheral equipment.
Repair of computers, software, and peripheral equipment.
Troubleshoot phones, networks, projectors, doc cams and any other technology used by students or staff.
Support audio and visual equipment at various ALA-West Foothills events.
Train users on software and hardware on-site.
Maintain records of work in progress and completed jobs.
Maintain a moderate level of proficiency in software and applications supported by IT.
Assist in miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Required to lift up to 50 pounds in support of hardware installations.
