Job Description

Licensed Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) Rice Lake Air Center - Rice Lake, Wisconsin For over 32 years, Rice Lake Air Center has specialized in the inspection, maintenance, and detailing of technically advanced turbine aircraft. As an FAA Part 145 Repair Station, we have built a global reputation for precision workmanship, disciplined processes, and an uncompromising commitment to safety. Our facility supports a focused fleet—allowing our technicians to develop deep expertise rather than working across dozens of unrelated airframes. We operate in a clean, highly organized shop environment where attention to detail, clear communication, and pride in craftsmanship are expected. We are seeking a highly skilled A&P Mechanic who is motivated by technical excellence, values consistency and structure, and takes ownership of their work. What You'll Work On Turbine-powered aircraft with a strong emphasis on PT6 platforms Garmin avionics systems and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) Structured inspection programs and scheduled maintenance events High-end aircraft detailing and finishing work Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled inspections (annuals, phase inspections, progressive programs) Execute routine and advanced maintenance on turbine aircraft systems Diagnose and troubleshoot: Electrical systems (wiring, avionics integration, fault isolation) Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Powerplant issues (especially PT6 engines) Remove, install, and rig components including flight controls, landing gear, and engine accessories Conduct operational and functional checks following maintenance Interpret and apply: Aircraft maintenance manuals Service bulletins and airworthiness directives Maintain accurate, FAA-compliant maintenance records and logbook entries Respond to unscheduled maintenance and AOG situations with urgency and precision Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and correctly the first time

$90,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
