Norco, CA Job Details Full-time $120,000 a year Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Mandarin Interpersonal skills English Trade compliance Attention to detail Customs Broker License International trade regulations Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a Licensed Customs Broker to lead and manage import customs clearance activities in full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. This position will play a critical role in ensuring accurate HTS classification, timely entry submissions, and smooth coordination among internal operations, ocean freight, trucking partners, and regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities Act as the licensed signing authority for customs entry filings. Review and verify import documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and arrival notices. Perform HTS classification and verify duty rates, Section 301 tariffs, ADD/CVD applicability, etc. Prepare and submit ISF, Entry, PGA filings (FDA / USDA / EPA / DOT as applicable) through
ACE / ABI
systems. Communicate and coordinate with CBP, carriers, terminals, warehouses, and clients to ensure timely release of cargo. Handle Customs examinations , document requests, and post-entry adjustments such as PSC or protests when required. Provide internal training and compliance guidance to operations and business teams. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications Required:
Active U.S. Customs Broker License Strong knowledge of HTS classification , CBP regulations, and import documentation. Proficiency in ACE, ABI, and online entry platforms. Strong English communication skills (written & verbal). Ability to work independently with high responsibility and accuracy.
Preferred:
3+ years experience in U.S. import brokerage or freight forwarding. Experience with FCL, LCL, and e-commerce (FBA / DDP) shipments . Mandarin Chinese language ability is a plus for internal communication, not required. Work Conditions On-site at Norco office. Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Occasional overtime during volume peaks may be required.
